Artistic portraiture in studio, 2 models. Film and digital.

We meet downstairs at reception The Archives High Cross Centre N15 4BE

There will be 2 fully analogue 35mm film cameras  available with a roll of black and white film for anyone who wishes to  try film photography and I will explain and set you up on how to use it.  On a first come first serve basis, contact me to reserve your camera  and roll. You walk away with your roll, and I can tell you some places  that develops if you need.

The big studio will be divided into 2 setups grounded on  natural light using the props and backdrops in the studio, being a  portrait studio we do have plenty around to play with as well as  lighting that we can use.

Each group will have no more than 4 photographers, we will shoot one on  one in turns and then change model, setup and guardrobe midshoot. I will  be there to help you with what you need.

We have a great Natural light portraiture studio with  several textured backdrops and props, most importantly we have a high  degree of control over the natural light.

Suitable for beginners and experienced photographers. Shoot for practice, fun or your portfolio.

Recommended focal lenght on full frame sensor for  portraits anything 50mm and above (24-70, 85...), for croped sensors  35mm and above.

There is support for film photographers if needed, recommended film ISO for this studio ambient light conditions is 400.

By purchasing tickets to attend you are waiving any  liability on my part for personal damage or accident to you or your  personal belongings.

You are responsible for your own person and belongings.

Tickets are non refundable except in case of event cancellation, please double check your schedule before signing up.

You agree to follow the organizers instructions at all times and be respectful to all attending and members of the public.

When shooting with a model strictly no physical contact  with the model, you can instruct verbally or demonstrate asking to  mirror your movement or position...Please keep comments tasteful.

The booked model could be changed if the original model could not attend for any reason.

Usage: as the photographer you have the  copyright, models sign a model release form that allows the  photographers in the workshop to use the photos for personal, portfolio,  social media, art, competitions... Not allowed usage :  stock photography, associated with third party brands, demeaning and  deep fake including adult content. You can take a screen shot of the  release free of charge on the day of the shoot, if you need a copy  afterwards there is a £10 admin fee.

Occasionally you might be recorded in behind the scenes  videos, like the instagram stories that we post or the like with an  effort to preserve your privacy but if you mind it just make it known by  sending me a direct message or letting me know before the event starts  and you wont appear in any recording.
