Christmas Lights Oxford St., cinematic night photography workshop with Natalie

We meet Argyll Street (Oxford Circus exit 6 for Argyll street) infront of Angus Steakhouse

The theme of the workshop is to get cinematic results and capture the Christmas lights. If you wish the Crhistmas lights to be well defined instead of out of  focus and blurred then I would recommend a wide angle lens at 35mm or  less and possibly a tripod too, for example a 24-70mm shot at 24mm F8  with a slow shutter like 1/10 of a second (hence the tripod) altough  your camera might have good image stabilization and no need for that.

I will bring RGB lights and some toys for creative purposes and we will assist each other, making it a great day to try and test.

Suitable for beginners and experienced photographers.  Shoot for practice, fun or your portfolio. Any advice or help that you  need please just ask on the day, I can set you up shooting in manual in  no time.

We will shoot in a small group of max 4 in turns and helping each other.

Film cameras and video recording are welcome but there is no tuition on those formats and you must be able to fly solo.

By purchasing tickets to attend you are waiving any  liability on my part for personal damage or accident to you or your  personal belongings.

You are responsible for your own person and belongings.

Tickets are non refundable except in case of event cancellation, please double check your schedule before signing up.

You agree to follow the organizers instructions at all times and be respectful to all attending and members of the public.

When shooting with a model strictly no physical contact  with the model, you can instruct verbally or demonstrate asking to  mirror your movement or position...Please keep comments tasteful.

The booked model could be changed if the original model could not attend for any reason.

Usage: as the photographer you have the  copyright, models sign a model release form that allows the  photographers in the workshop to use the photos for personal, portfolio,  social media, art, competitions, magazines... Not allowed usage : stock photography, associated with third party brands, demeaning and deep fake including adult content. You can take a screen shot of the release free of charge on the day of  the shoot, if you need a copy afterwards there is a £10 admin fee.

Occasionally you might be recorded in behind the scenes  videos, like the instagram stories that we post or the like with an  effort to preserve your privacy but if you mind it just make it known by  sending me a direct message and you wont appear in any recording.
